If I had to pick a favorite, it would be The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane. I don't even really like tea, but I thought the story was very interesting. Best of luck!

I loved, loved Mr Penumbra's.... I really need this to be a long series with a bunch of misadventures.

Since I only read Food of the Gods; I will definitely be interested to see what you think of it.

Good luck, Ruth!

Thanks everyone. It's a mixed bunch of books but I like the variety. I have all these books and I'm trying to read what I have and not buy more... for a few months anyway 🤣

Hi Lea, I have just finished The Tea Girl and it was amazing. I felt really immersed in the story. The way it was written was unique. I just loved it. Even got me crying at the end! Definitely need ro read more by this author.

I was fascinated by Snow Flower and the Secret Fan (Fair warning: it does have some very descriptive paragraphs about foot binding), it's my favorite by See. I wasn't as interested in Peony in Love - that book wasn't for me. Happy reading!
