Looks like there's no need. It seems to be working fine now. Thanks to whoever's fixed it.
It only marks books as READ if you've logged the same edition that is used on the series page, but if you have any other edition, even if it's properly connected to the series, the page doesn't see it. There's no such problem with other series I've checked. They properly mark a book as READ and show your rating even if you've logged some other local edition, as it should be. Can it be fixed?
