Logan and Veronica picnic on the beach before he has to report to duty. He fills Veronica in on his life the 9 years they were apart.
What were your reactions to hearing Logan's story?

Even with this book I read the end to make sure they stayed together because I wasn't going to bother reading it if they broke up. Seriously. Lol

This chapter broke my heart. I love knowing what happened to Logan after the show ended, but I never expected it to be so dark. This was the perfect time for V to finally say she loves Logan. It kills me that she was never shown telling him that.

Well, considering his hard partying that we now know about, he certainly could easily have blown much of his money. He does have that very pricey car, though, and a military salary wouldn't buy that. I could see him giving away a chunk of his wealth. He would've thought of it as blood money. However that doesn't mean he didn't keep some aside so he could have a comfortable life, if not an extravagant one.

Well, considering he has no home, he isn't spending anything on housing, which is the most costly thing in our lives, so yeah then what he earns could go far.Neptune Rising wrote: "I'm not too sure about that. I feel like he must have some money since he wasn't batting an eyelash at hiring a big time lawyer in the movie. He may not be loaded like he was in high school but should have enough for him and veronica to buy a house when SHE is ready.

They moved in together, got a dog, and she refers to him as daddy to the dog. Those are great baby steps towards house.
