I love when that happens!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book, but I'm about halfway through and so far enjoying it. I think Nick is a great character, and the world they survive on is intriguing. I can envision many more stories coming out of this environment. Hoping to find out more about Nick's background and how he came to be such a smooth operator :)
I have gotten about 30% in and I am enjoying it. It's a lot darker than I thought it would be, with some intense and troubling content. I am feeling really angry at the company behind all the dirt. I really like Nick so far.
Well I finally finished this book. I've been involved in a challenge in another group here on goodreads and have been trying to finish this one in between. Although somewhat dark and troubling issues involved in this story as Danielle mentioned, I was really captivated by the storytelling. I thought Nick was a great character and can see him going on to doing so much more in future books. I will definitely be checking them out. I have not read too much in this sci-fi/wild west genre, but have decided that I really like it. I will be searching for other similar books in the future. Thanks for suggesting this one Danielle!

I wish that (view spoiler) Otherwise, I really like Nick.
The depravity of these people (the bad guys) is really getting to me. The audacity of their criminal and reprehensible behavior! Bowers is definitely showing people at their worst. I suppose that true to the real Old West. Not a light read at all.
I'm glad you liked it, Lisa!

I totally agree with you on your spoiler Danielle, but his want/need to put the bad guys out of business and behind bars, evened the playing field for me a bit. I also just really enjoyed the whole space western theme of the book.
