What impressions did you form of Jamie Mills’ mother when Kim first interviewed her? Did you have any developing theories?

[Sharon]

I didn't like her from the start. She didn't respond to Kim like any loving mother. She wanted to move on and forget about Jamie, and she wanted the police to forget about him too.

She went on my suspect list immediately. I wasn't sure if she was the murderer with her husband, or if they contracted his murder.

What a piece of work! As soon as she said he was better off being dead, she skyrocketed up on my suspect list, even before Jamie’s death was changed from suicide to murder.

I moved Jamie from suicide to murder as soon as I met his mother.

I agree with both Jonetta and Jamie. It seems to me that she was made to be as awful as she was so that we would see her as a suspect as well as understanding more about Jamie.

She was dreadful, they didn't care that their son was dead but I didn't necessarily think they had murdered him though. But it did seem that it wasn't a suicide. Wasn't surprised about that.
