I got s&s before even knowing abt jane Austen because the cover of the copy they had was gorguese and it was R5 for me wich is US$ 0.29

steph bohrer - a youtube channel and she just made a video titled "midnight songs as books" but none are YA - she's an adult reader, so i don't know if you'll be interested in them if you're more into classic YA, but i think it's worth a try!

other books with midnights vibes are:
-seven husbands of evelyn hugo (lavender haze)
-the song of achilles (the great war)
-inheritance games (anti-hero)
-good girls guide to murder (vigilante sh*t?)
-fable (bejeweled...if you get it, you get it)

also i can't stand the classics they're too stuffy for me (can't handle the fancy words LMAO) so it's a no from me

i'm not a coho stan (anymore) but she's a really good storyteller, i read it really quickly!
