Combine duplicates - please correct

I believe the hardcover editions need to be merged, please.

I have merged the editions but cannot combine the duplicates - that needs a super-librarian so you can now move the request to 'Help me, Superlibrarian!'

You probably meant to say you combined the editions, but couldn't merge the duplicate.

Probably, I find it difficult to remember which is which as in general usage the terms are near synonyms.
