I am reading Dead Water and it soooo good. It's a folk horror book and I love the cover.

I got my recommendation for this prompt from that video LOL

My kids loved it and I was able to get it picked as an annual book for our school event too.

I’m reading The Twyford Code by Janice Hallett for this one. A mystery novel quite different to others I’ve read. The wvesion I have, at least, with a huge fish on the cover, has a rabbit in one of the fish’s scale.

I had to look that one up - what an AWESOME cover!!! I love it!! (And I miss the days when you could enlarge the cover in Goodreads - why did they do away with that feature?? I've complained to them several times about it. I had to google and find a website with a good photo. Which is here, if anyone else is curious: https://www.mwgerard.com/tag/twyford-...)

I just finished Trail of Lightning, which was a great premise, but had some truly baffling "twists" that made me question the intelligence of some of the main characters. The guy who's on the cover is given a nickname of Rabbit. I'm penciling this in until I get to a more on topic book.
I am reading Bunny by Mona Awad. I was planning on reading Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung, but I recently purchased the former from a bookstore last week.
I read
Scandi-noir with comedy and warmth (and a large plastic rabbit). It was a very enjoyable read, with an endearing MC.
Just finished Cursed Bunny: Stories by Bora Chung. This might be one of my 5 star reads for the year! These stories are at the intersection of speculative fiction, magical realism, weird fiction, K-horror, and fables about the patriarchy and capitalism.
I've recommended it to people who hate sci-fi, magical realism, horror, and.... well... fiction! And we've all found something we loved.
I read What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher. I didn't realize until I started reading that it's a hare on the cover. (I should have checked this thread first). But because I didn't know when I picked the book and it's close enough, I'm counting it.I really enjoyed the book and read it in one sitting. It's wonderfully creepy. When I added it to my Goodreads shelf, I saw it's the first in a series. I would definitely read more books in this series.
I was disappointed that my library didn’t have Rabbit Cake but was pleasantly surprised to realize, after adding it to my TBR, that Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead prominently features rabbits on all its editions.
I'm reading The Prestige by Christopher Priest for this prompt. There's a movie adaptation from 2006. I remember enjoying it.
Much to my surprise, I listened to the audiobook of Watership Down by Richard Adams and absolutely loved it. I have no idea how a book about rabbits could be so compelling but it truly is.I'm making my way through Amazon Editors' 100 Books to Read in a Lifetime list in addition to Popsugar. I read a few of the 100 Books each year. Watership Down was a twofer for me bringing my list of books to read down to 32.
