61. The Italian Wedding by Nicky Pellegrino. The Italian Wedding by Nicky Pellegrino

4 stars. I really like this author and found this a good page-turning read. I would have liked a little more development in the romance and the ending was too abrupt.

Borrowed from the library.

Karen | 61 comments 62. House of Odysseus by Claire North. House of Odysseus (The Songs of Penelope, #2) by Claire North

5 stars. I love stories retelling Greek myths and this is one of the best retellings out there. Looking forward to the next (final?) book.

Borrowed from the library.

Both borrowed from the library.

Karen | 61 comments 68. The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith. The Running Grave (Cormoran Strike #7) by Robert Galbraith

4 stars. Really good read. Robin really goes through it in this installment in the series. Ending was good, if rather convoluted. Looking forward to book 8.

Borrowed from the library.

Karen | 61 comments 69. Three Holidays and a Weddingby Uzma Jalaluddin & Marissa Stapley. Three Holidays and a Wedding by Uzma Jalaluddin

4 stars. A little bit different as we have a setting of 2000 when three major religious festivals almost coincided and a Muslim and a Christian-Jewish pairing. Very festive but slightly marred by being a little too long.

Borrowed from the library.

Karen | 61 comments 70. The Scent of the Night by Andrea Camilleri. The Scent of the Night (Inspector Montalbano, #6) by Andrea Camilleri

3 stars. Perhaps my least favourite in the series so far but that still makes it better than 75% of crime books out there.

Borrowed from the library.

3 stars. This was fine. Not quite as much atmosphere as some of her others.

Borrowed from the library.

73. The Story of a Snail Who Discovered the Importance of Being Slow by Luis Sepúlveda. The Story of a Snail Who Discovered the Importance of Being Slow by Luis Sepúlveda

4 stars. One for all us slower folk out there. Echoes of parts of Watership Down. Tragic and cute at the same time.

Borrowed from my partner.

74. The Temple of Fortuna by Elodie Harper. The Temple of Fortuna (Wolf Den Trilogy, #3) by Elodie Harper

4 stars. An interesting book but not quite as good as the first two in the trilogy.

3 stars. I didn't mean to reach the next peak! I refuse to leave my beloved Narnia. I had some books that had to go back to the library and could not be renewed. Sigh. This book was a disappointment too.

Borrowed from the library.

I need to read The Red and the Black for another challenge I am doing but that will be the only other book that I am considering reading for this challenge and I may have run out of time.
