NOVEMBER READS
I read Sexing the Cherry and Wuthering Heights
Books I need to read in December:
- The Red and the Black by Stendhal (1001 challenge)
and to finish challenges:
- The Birds Fall Down by Rebecca West
- Baltasar and Blimunda by José Saramago
- Another book my partner picks as the one he picked originally at the start of the year has not turned up!
- The amorous history of the Gauls by Roger de Rabutin, Count de Bussy
- the remaining 9 books on my 23 in 23 list (not happening!)
And I cannot renew from the library:
- The Temple of Fortuna by Elodie Harper
- A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber
And I want to read some seasonal books.
I almost forgot to add this section - The Peter James book above is my first December read.

(I will cross them out if I read them this year). Hoping if I have to keep updating this it might put me off buying books...Although they will all count for this challenge...in 2024.

DECEMBER CHALLENGE
I read the library books I needed to. I ran out of time to read The Red and the Black. My partner swapped out the missing book from his list and I read it and finished it along with Baltasar and Blimunda. I read 17 out of my list for my 23 in 2023 challenge. I failed to read Clarissa.
Mixed bag. Roll on 2024.
