Gamely | 1 comments Heyyy! I'm new to the goodreads community and wanted to tell everyone about my new years resolution. My new years resolution is to write one book a month for the entire year, each month with a different challenge (Only listen to podcasts, only write in a specific style, ect..) and I wanted to bring ya'll along with me! I'm going to be putting the link to my Tumblr account on january first and I would love if ya'll would follow and send me challenges to do in the form of asks. Can't wait to do this challenge! Wish me luck!

Had to follow you, Bruce. No offense, Gamely, but I had to laugh at his comment. Good luck to you.

Colleen MacFarlane (sloanekerker) | 142 comments Ambitious, to say the least. Perhaps your books are 30 pages in length? Do you have a sure-fire editor who has your back? I've written and self-published 3 books, and although the writing of the book is finite, marketing the book is forever and all-consuming. I offer to you my FREE monthly newsletter that I've begun and is dedicated to readers and authors alike. Each newsletter (cbmacfarlanebooks@gmail.com) will contain information + interview with authors each month. Good luck in your endeavor. My new years eve resolution is to simply read two books a month, and doing my own writing comes 2nd. I once heard that in order to be a good writer; to never stop reading.
