The Expo Celebration question

Now that Goodreads has made it more difficult to add a book and it seems increasingly that books do not have a cover. It is not because book covers for old books cannot be found...StoryGraph and LibraryThing can find the books with covers. Goodreads was my first online experience with tracking my books and reading but I am increasingly disappointed. Does anyone know what the problem is?
