Tami (tamicarvallo) | 6987 comments Hello, books must have a storyline or universe or characters in common to be a series. "Universe" means the setting. Some of the characters could encounter each other, or, some of the characters are the same in each book. A shared theme is not a series by Goodreads definition. Can you please tell us how this series meets the definition of a series by Goodreads standards?

From what I can tell the first series are just fairytale retellings, they are unconnected (only a shared theme).

About the second series I'm not sure, seems unconnected at first glance, nothing in the description helps indicate it follows a storyline or shares characters. Can you tells us what makes this a series? Also, where was "A Gift For A Fae Warrior" available? Based on your website it was only available as part of the Fierce Hearts anthology, is that correct? https://www.authormeganvandyke.com/20...

Megan Dyke | 5 comments The Reimagined Fairy Tale Collection is all set in the same world and there are connections and cross-overs between the stories even though each one follows a separate main couple.

Courts of Faery is a similar situation. Each book has a different main couple but tells an overall story across the books. The characters appear in each of the stories, but the main couple focus is different for each as the main external plot (war amongst the courts) progresses over books.

A Gift for a Fae Warrior was included in that anthology which recently ended. It is currently available free to my newsletter subscribers but will move to Amazon soon.

Still waiting to hear back about A Gift for a Fae Warrior, this is why I haven't added it to the Courts of Faery series https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Megan Dyke | 5 comments I included a comment about A Gift for a Fae Warrior in my previous comment. It was:
"A Gift for a Fae Warrior was included in that anthology which recently ended. It is currently available free to my newsletter subscribers but will move to Amazon soon."

It is a prequel to A Bargain with the Fae King, set in the same world and including the same characters (though told from a different character's POV than the main POV for A Bargain with the Fae King). What additional information do you need?

The issue is that A Gift for a Fae Warrior is not valid for inclusion to the database per Goodreads policies in both ways the story is available "A short story or short stories only published in an anthology or magazine" and "Stories only available via subscription to a newsletter, or via a website that requires registration" are not valid books. Please note at the bottom of the page "Please note that items that do not meet Goodreads policies for inclusion in the database may be deleted without warning." The reason I made the other post asking was because you said the edition would be made available soon in a way that is valid (Amazon) so I didn't want you to lose your ratings and reviews. As Renske said in her reply, since you said it's going to be available soon, we could wait until the valid edition is added or imported to the database and then merge them so you don't lose the existing shelvings, ratings and reviews. It would be really helpful if you could give us an estimation of how soon as Scott asked.
