I read this book sometime from 2015-2018 before I started using Goodreads in earnest. In this book, an author moves to a remote town - I seem to think it was in Sweden - to write memoir or an article for wealthy man. The author lives and writes in a cabin on man’s property, it snows a lot, and he makes fires in the cabin to keep warm. He walks across a bridge to take bus into town. Falls in love with a girl - can’t remember if she lives in the town or if she’s related to the wealthy man.
