Theresa | 15655 comments I just learned about this puzzle or game in the Popsugar GR group. I believe it is out of the UK and that there are additional clues on Twitter, but it looks like fun.

They have a FB page too if that helps.

I am at zero. Will try tomorrow when fresher... and then might peek at a few hints.

Jen K | 3155 comments Okay, I got up to 12 and took your suggestion for FB clues and nailed another 6. I have the tie-dye man and one that I can't even find the clue!! Help!!

Driving DC to northern VT tomorrow and will be offline but anxiously thinking about the final 2.

The game is a bit addictive.

Stuck on tie-dye man and he is in crime fiction section of store which I should ace!

Did you get the plain box or counter clue image? It is well hidden ... i found by accident but still have not guessed it.

The front of the counter that the dog is behind? Yes, it is one of the first ones I got without any clues. You will kick yourself once you get it. It is a fairly straight forward one.

I have been kicking myself on how long the poster one took me....

And for some reason every time I typed in the answer to the ladder one it told me I was wrong. Finally after umpteenth time of entering it the same spelling over and over, it accepted it. So frustrating.

Weird, that is frustrating! Is there anything between the snowman and the 2 life books? The ladder one was tricky. I needed a clue on that one.

The poster one was good too. I might have struggled if I hadn't just read it a few months ago.

That is why the poster bothered me! I read it earlier this year too!

I more or less accidentally saw clue on ladder one and knew immediately what it had to be...but it kept rejecting.

Oh and counter one - really good and so obvious when you got it.

I still need 6. Time to get a snack, stop obsessing. I am trying not to just go to clues. I hate doing that too soon.

Jen K | 3155 comments Nice work! Finally found my missing clue and knew it immediately, another book I finally read this year, but still stuck on the tie-dye guy.

Jen K | 3155 comments And I got it with a clue. Clever once I got it! Good luck! I know you can do it without any clues!

Theresa | 15655 comments OK. I am at 18/20. Lots of forehead hitting when figure them out. Of the 2 that I have remaining, one lots of people have trouble with and are providing clues for but I am not figuring out even with clues. The other seems to be one everyone is getting easily because only one hint given for solving which isn't helping.

Could be the British vs. American factor.

Are you still stuck on tie-dye man? Use one, or some, or all the clues (don't worry, none of these clues are the actual answer!):

clue 1: (view spoiler)
clue 2: (view spoiler)
clue 3: (view spoiler)
clue 4: (view spoiler)

Got that one. Left are travel section one and girl on stairs. There have been a million clues on the girl and it isn't helping me at all.

I suspect at some point my eye will land on a book in one of my many TBR Towers or shelves, causing an Ahah! Moment.

Theresa | 15655 comments Those clues were all great btw. Love his books.

Nadine in NY Jones | 11 comments the woman on the stairs is not a good clue, that's why it's so tough. And I've never heard of the book, either. I never would have gotten that one without this help:

clue 1 (view spoiler)
clue 2 (view spoiler)
clue 3 (view spoiler)

The travel one, somehow I just got it, it popped into my head.
clue 1 (view spoiler)
clue 2 (view spoiler)
clue 3 (view spoiler)

Theresa | 15655 comments Will try your clues Nadine - I have one more book to try for the girl -- it keeps popping it but the image isn't really suggesting it. However, since it keeps popping into my mind I must try it.

Most of the image clues were really clever I thought. And every single book is one I knew and most have read. Including the one I thought I had not --- and when I finally looked it up on GR, I not only had read it, but I recommend it and talk about it pretty frequently -- though I never remember the title. (it's the Apple book btw).

message 20: by Theresa (new)

Theresa | 15655 comments Still working on travel one. Girl on stairs ... finally! I swear I entered that several times last night and it said I was wrong. Not that I ever heard of the book before.

message 21: by Theresa (new)

Theresa | 15655 comments Finally solved. Needed hints on final 2 or 3. Loved it.
