For non-fiction books like this one, there are no characters (because it is about a programming language). There are examples aplenty of Non-Fiction books without characters that belong to a series, mainly because they belong to the same course. The seven parts of this Python course (the seven books) together instruct the reader on Concurrency.
Here is another example: https://www.goodreads.com/series/3217...
Emma wrote: "These are seven non-fiction books about the Python programming language, on the topic Concurrency. On the cover it is also mentioned that these books are part of a seven day course, with each book being 1/7th of the course."
For the record, I agree that these constitute a series. (I also agree that determining series for non-fiction books can be challenging.)

I note that my above series is also accepted as a series on Amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLHNYQLG

Oh no, you didn't cause drama. I just wasn't aware of the rules for non-fiction series, and it was a good thing I said something otherwise I would still be ignorant to it. I'm thankful Emma was patient and explained it to me. Sorry if I made anyone feel bad, it wasn't my intention, truly everything I said was in good faith.

Updated the description of the series based on that Amazon series page.

Neither of you did! There are always edge cases and its good to verify other librarian's intuitions against your own. As mentioned above, I appreciate the feedback! These conversations are necessary; the Goodreads Librarian Manual is a general guideline, but there will always be examples or edge cases that stump librarians.
