I'm a former journalist and editor for a newspaper, and published novelist. I'd like to swap my 60k literary memoir for your romance, thriller, literary fiction or memoir, or many other genres. Not the best person for straight sci-fi perhaps, or erotica.

My book is about recovery from a very dramatic and unusual experience that really happened, but there's no sex, violence or ethnic, racial or gender prejudice.

I comment on plot, pace, characters, structure and narrative drive etc. No line edits, proper book doctor stuff though.

How does one simply walk away from a dream after spending a lifetime working towards it, with no regard for anything else? Half coming-of-age novel, half love letter to Boston, this story is about the love that only exists between sisters and the best of friends, the inner strength that forms from surviving painful experiences, and the kind of sweetness that’s worth kissing a few frogs for.
