This is a Buddy Read for The Inside Story by Michael Buckley starting August 1, 2023.

Listening to this today! These go so quickly. I'm in to Chapter 6 already--(view spoiler)[The journey through stories is an interesting structure. I feel bad for all the book people, stuck into specific versions of each character. Though if I think of them as actors, rather than as a different version of each character, then its not so bad. But the revisors are scary...

S&D's brother calling Mirror "Dada"... that's just twisted. It makes me think a little of Red Country, Caliban's War... feels like I've read a lot of books lately with young children getting traumatized. What will it be like for little Sammy, or Jordan, or whatever they come up with (Sammy was my favorite so far) when he has to be taken away from his "Dada"? Even though is Dada is a an evil 2D person who wants to steal his body.

At this point, I can't imagine how either Puck or Sabrina will mature enough to be desirable partners. I honestly have no idea how/why they get married.

Daphne still isn't quite up to Daphne snuff for me. Though Pucktastic was a good one. (hide spoiler)]

I read this a day or 2 ago, and should have said something...

These go so fast, so I was done before I got a chance to say anything...

My main takeaway, was that I think this was my favorite in awhile, in a series... probably because we're getting close to the end, and things are progressing at a fair clip, finally... only one book left, after this...

And how much Sabrina & Daphne seemed to click in this one...

Ditto on the fast--I finished yesterday and really don't have many notes for the end of the story outside of what I already wrote. Though now that I think about it, S&D really were in synch for this book, which is nice, after 7 books of head-butting.

I like how it ended with (view spoiler)["to be concluded" instead of the standard "to be continued." (hide spoiler)]

Yeah I liked this one ALOT more than the past 3 or so! There were moments that made me chuckle which hasn't happened since the first few...

I mean Sabrina (and I guess Puck by maturity) are 12 (?) so... there's a lot of growing up to do lol

True... can you imagine reading a YA version of these stories? How emo would that be?

I do wish/hope we'll get to see some of that growth though... with only one book left I kind of doubt it.
