Definitely fire and flood by Victoria Scott! She got me into reading distopian/fantasy books
the sisters grimm series ( i was like 8 guys dont judge lol)

the book that got me into reading was probably The Mysterious Benedict Society or Percy Jackson series, also the Legend series by Marie Lu will forever hold a place in my heart

Honestly.. it was the twilight series when I was in middle school. I can't remember any other books at that age that I simply could not put down like that series did to me.

its been so long but I believe it was either the unfortunate events series, the harry potter series, or the maximum ride series. I read them all around the same time not sure what came first.

I don’t remember the name but it was about a girl who had a disability and a passion for baking. At the end, she won the competition and gained confidence in herself alongside her skills. I would also say I was pretty hung up on Jacqueline Wilson’s books when I was younger
