November 2022 Report for The Challenge Factory

Here's what's happening Inside the Factory:

✍ We have 15 new members!
And 8 of those new members are already commenting and participating in challenges! That's what we moderators like to see :)

Please tell us about yourself in the Introduction thread. We'd love to hear about what types of books you read and anything else you'd like to say.

If you have been a member for a while now and haven't participated in a challenge recently, we hope you'll find one or two and jump right in.


✍ How are you doing on your year-long challenges?
We are beginning the final two months of 2022. If you signed up to participate in a year-long challenge or two, you might want to check and see how you are progressing.


✍ a new group read program
There is a new feature here on The Challenge Factory. It's a Group Read. The first book up is Moby-Dick or, the Whale. If you have considered tackling this amazing book, now is the time. Erica has questions and discussion points already to go. Please join us.

There is also a nomination thread to pick the next group read book. Swing by the Group Read Nominations: December 2022 thread to see how the process will work.

Also, if you have a book that you'd like to read with a friend or two, feel free to request a buddy read.

Our newest team challenge began last week. It's based on the TV game show, Family Feud. If you're interested in signing up to be a backup player, head on over to the Family Feud info and sign-up thread.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for challenges for 2023, please post them on the TCF Suggestions! thread. It would be a BIG help to the moderators to know what types of challenges you would be most likely to participate in.

On October's Weird & Funny Holidays thread, Denise announced this: Since this challenge had its debut in November 2021, we've now covered the entire year, so "Weird & Funny Holidays" will be retiring after this month. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Take a look at the Sock Hop challenge. It might fill that challenge spot for you :)
