I loved Kim's Convenience and was sad when it was canceled, from what I heard was due to covid. Simu is a Chinese immigrant so check on the border AND is from over the border from me in Canada. I am also a sucker for a memoir read by the celebrity author

I'd give this 4.5 stars (come on Goodreads, we need a 1/2 star option) It was difficult to listen to the parts about his early life and probably very difficult to write about. However, he never explained HOW he resolved his issues with his parents. I know it is always a work in progress, but it didn't feel complete.

Next up on audiobook is The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert
My current book is How Music Got Free: The End of an Industry, the Turn of the Century, and the Patient Zero of Piracy by Stephen Richard Witt with Before the Lights Go Out: A Season Inside a Game on the Brink by Sean Fitz-Gerald next on the docket.

Because November is drawing to a close and I won't be able to read 2 books in 2 days....I am using this for both Secret and Record to finish the prompts.

On to Ronan Farrow's Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators. I want to note that it's my choice and preference to pair these together, as Twohey/Kantor/Farrow jointly received the Pulitzer for their work on the Weinstein story, but I'll definitely be interested in some lighter fare once this is done.
