I just finished this book. So good!! And different from other books I’ve read. I wish this would be a series but I think it’s a stand alone novel.
I just finished and really love the book. I also wish it would be a series. I liked the ADHD aspect and how Dok approached it with Lydie.
You liked the use of "mindfulness"? That's a new age technique.

It's not easy being the bishop's daughter, especially for Lydie Stoltzfus. She's not like other Amish girls, as much as she wishes she were. The only thing she does well is disappoint others. Leaving her family and church seems unbearable, but staying might be worse.
