The countries of Westalis and Ostania have been waging a cold war for years where espionage and assassinations are commonplace. The peerless spy known as "Twilight" is Westalis' best agent who aims to take care of the powerful Donovan Desmond. The fucking thing is that Desmond is an antisocial hermit whose only public appearances are at his son's school events. Twilight must get close enough to the target to disrupt his secret agenda. For that, you will only have to pretend that you are a family man... with the small detail that you only have 7 days to form the ideal family.
That is why under the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger, Twilight will recruit Yor Briar, an Astanian civilian who wants to have a low profile and Anya, an orphan who is only looking for a loving family, to do the parts of wife and daughter respectively. But it turns out that this pair is not normal either, especially if we consider that Yor is a professional assassin wanted by both sides and Anya is a fugitive from a secret laboratory where she obtained telepathic powers.
