I wasn't sure if this request would fall under beta reading or critiquing. I don't need a completed manuscript read. I have a WIP I'm publishing on Kindle Vella that has a Russian sub-character who is in a good portion of the story.
I've done hours of research but would still feel better if someone who's familiar with Russian English dialogue could read over some of his to let me know if it comes across genuine and not offensive to native Russians. Mostly, it's good-humored banter with the main male character because they're close friends and has a few Russian words mixed in every now and again.
I didn't try to spell out his accent phonetically, merely kept his dialogue shorter and to the point without articles or less articles. He has a fairly decent grasp on English but doesn't use it as often as his native language and that's how I'd like it to come across.
