I liked this book very much and like The Silent Patient even more. This is just my opinion but I am not sure this is a book well suited to just listening to the audio book. I found myself going back and reviewing various quotes for deeper meaning that just wouldn't be possible listening to the story unfold. I'm sure it will still be "good" listening to it but I'm not sure you will get the full impact of the story just listening.

Thank you for the insight. I usually highlight/bookmark parts of the recording in Libby while listening so I can go back and digest later. The silent patient is on my tbr too. What makes the silent patient better in your opinion?

It's really good. It has a disheartening twist at the end. Without spoiling anything, I would just say pay attention to everyone.

Good as long as you can look back when needed you will be fine.

I just found the Silent Patient to be a real page turner and a quicker read keeping my nose in the book from beginning to end.
