I'm technically already around like 90 pgs in. I just put the book down a while ago because I didn't have much time for it and I really wanted to binge the series. I just wanted to kinda reread it to refresh my memory.

This is my first actual buddy read at least on this site, I read with my friend irl for a bit. But our schedules are too meh. So usually I've gone solo.

I finished, there are some of my thoughts on the last chapters:

(view spoiler)[I hate those wizards, I basically hate almost everyone! The Queen, the high wizard, sometimes Raisa - she can be very annoying! I like that Han is a descendant of the Demon King - it will be interesting to see what he can do with the magic... And I guess the sequel could be better if it's going to be set in academy. I even hate those clan people for not telling him... those characters just frustrated me so much!! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I still wasn't very fond with Raisa at the end of the book. I preferred Han's POV.
I wasn't a big fan of any of the characters either. I didn't worry about any of the characters as well, if it came to a point where a character was in a death situation I just couldn't care less whereas usually there would be one character I would hope never dies.
I did feel bad when Mari and the mum died though and I thought it was really nice of the Raggers to try and help. (hide spoiler)]
