While I do admit this book is a fun read, I feel like it is a bit overhyped!!!

I felt like the book was rushed towards the end and I found the chemistry between Wes and Liz to be a bit off in the end too, they occured to be friends more than romantic interests of each other. I also found Liz a tad bit annoying but the book did had a cute banter thing going on between those two, a near love triangle, fake dating all that!!If you liked medicore YA novels then I would say give it a try, you may end up liking it.
It was a fun read to be honest but would I re-read this book again? now that is a hard no!!
i agree! i really enjoyed it but i also think it was kind of overhyped. and, like you said, i thought the ending was really rushed too. maybe the book was a bit too cliche and predictable, but i thought it was a pretty cute romance and it was a very fun read :)
I agree with what's been said! I also feel Wes is a great character, but he did 95% of the lifting for this and that was frustrating, lol... I felt these two needed way more time to work out their stuff and Liz is extremely lucky that she's got so many people who care and support her. I can sympathize with her, but I didn't like how she treated the closest people in her life and felt she needed more character growth.Definitely had a a very fun rom com movie pace and cute moments though!
agree with all of the above - found liz quite frustrating and overall think the book is very overhyped
i agree w everything that's been said. it was a good book but i wouldn't read again. it wasn't a total no but i didn't like the main character at a lot of times. i honestly mainly continued to read it for wes haha but it wasn't necessarily bad.
I Haven't read Better than the Movies yet, but I read Better than Before and it was bad enough that I decided not to continue.
I read it recently and it was mid 💀 in the beginning I thought Liz was so relatable but eventually she was just over the top annoying
