Not sure I will read it twice but I love the book very much. A lot has happen so far. (view spoiler)

Not sure I wi..."
The first time I read it I was a child and the second time my kids were in their 20s (last year, so they're still all in their 20s)

I understand why you would read it 2 times. For now, I convinced my husband to try it! I just loved the first part of the story. Even if it is quite a big book ( 700 pages in part 1 of the story), I never felt bored or thought that the story could have been shorter! I look forward starting book 2 at the end of November (another 700 pages!). Then I'll try The Three Musqueteers!

There is also a fabulous audiobook of it that I started, but then as audible changed I could no longer listen to it easily on my old computer. That's how I started the reread, but then I just went and started reading the whole book from the start a couple of years after trying it on audio.

It is! I finished it last night. I just loved everything about it. I want to try The Three Musqueteers now. Well everything by Dumas! LOL

Pages: 1276 pages
Length: 2 Months (November & December)
Participants: Lorraine, Rebecca, Rachael.
Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.
Happy Buddy Reading!
