Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to add a book which is on preorder right now under a pen name? On Kindle Direct Publishing it's still on my original account, and I'd rather not have to create a new account here to list it under my pen name.

The book is already listed on the site, with my pen name as the author, since it's like that on Smashwords I guess. I've recently changed my Smashwords profile from "author" to "publisher".
Hi Marguerite,Goodreads policy on pen names can get... involved. I need a second opinion because I uncovered an older cover on your first ebook edition that has your name as Marguerite 'Markie' Madden on it. I'm not sure what the primary author name should be for all your editions, especially as you've claimed both Marguerite Madden and Markie Madden author profiles.

This topic is actually about another book Witchopedia: An A to Z Book of Shadows by Naddya Foxfire. I don't think I could check that option as I am signed into Goodreads under my proper profile. That book is the one I'd like to have integrated into my profile--likely the Marguerite Madden profile as that's the one I use the most (I accidentally created Markie Madden because I had forgotten which social media I'd used originally to create my profile here!)But this book here, Keeping a Backyard Horse, I do have a newer cover image that I would like to have show if possible, and I don't think I have that option, I think it said to contact a librarian.

Well, as there is another author with the name of Marguerite Madden, I'd prefer to use the name Markie Madden on all of my works; I've already changed this on my book covers, at Smashwords, Amazon, and Createspace. I need to get my "Markie Madden" account merged with my Marguerite Madden account, then change that to Markie Madden. Then if we could get Keeping a Backyard Horse, Once Upon a Western Way, and My Butterfly Cancer put under that name, that would be great!

Because you have books published under Marguerite Madden, we cannot just merge your profiles into Markie Madden. However, we could merge them all into a profile with the name Marguerite 'Markie' Madden, which both appears on at least one of your book covers, and includes both the other names under which you have published.
Would that work for you?
The only reason my Amazon profile shows up as Marguerite is because they're using my legal name for tax and payment purposes. Every one of my books is published as "Markie Madden", and that's what you'll see on the covers and the interior files. One of my books (can't remember off the top of my head) shows as Markie Madden (writing as Marguerite Madden) or something to that effect. Can't we do this on all of my books?

None of my book covers are accurate. The links going back to Amazon, Smashwords, or Google will all site those titles with the author name on the cover as Markie Madden. Once Upon a Western Way has a totally redesigned cover as well, but the story is the same. I can provide new covers.

Combining the two profiles is not required, We can keep them as they are instead if you prefer.
I'd prefer to merge them together, I don't even remember the password for the other. But does this mean that my newest book, Fang and Claw, cannot be added to my profile? It was only published under Markie Madden, not Marguerite.

Any future books published under Marguerite Madden or Markie Madden can be moved to your profile by a librarian if you request it.
