book name is drink coca cola by jose antonio burciaga.

The book tells the story of a man who really has never tried much at all to make himself a better person, he complains about his job but does nothing about it. So far this has been an interesting book to read as it kind of shows us what could go on if we don't actually try to progress in life. The protagonist has a bad job with an even worse manager simply because he isn't respectful. Again teaching us another lesson that we have to treat others how it is that we want to be treated because some people can truly make your life a nightmare especially when they're your boss. In conclusion I believe that the author chose to write this book in order to show us what could happen if you choose to not be the best human being, it's weirdly motivating for me as I see this character live such a shitty life and as I read all I think about is how I don't want this life.

I think that the author wrote this book because she also was struggling with mental problems like the protagonists. She was exploring her feelings and confusions of having bipolar disorder and depression through the characters of the book. She also wrote it because she wanted to tell the readers how hard it is for many women to live with mental issues without being officially diagnosed by a professional.

Why do you think the author wrote this book? Why do you think that? (Write a well-developed paragraph explaining your answer. 3-5 sentences!)
