A Gorgeous Excitement by Cynthia Weiner Retelling of infamous murder case involving Robert Chambers and Jennifer Levy that happened in 1986. Really enjoyed the book as it really was a look at Nina and her life right before leaving for college. Reminded me so much of all the events taking place during that time. Being young, just don’t see the danger that is possible.
I finished both of my books and they were both called The Housemaid's Wedding by Freida McFadden and Brain Damage by Freida McFadden
Finished a book by Rachel Hanna this evening. The title was, " Fireflies and Family Ties " I thought the story was full of love and happiness.
I literally just finished
Julie Chan Is Dead by Liann Zhang It was a wild story. Julie’s very popular influencer twin sister, Chloe has just died. Julie decides that maybe it makes more sense that she becomes Chloe and that explains the title. Julie is loving Chloe’s Extravagant Life and her Loving, Kind, and Sweet Influencer Friends. You just know this is not going to last. Really, got into this one, read it so fast.
Rochi wrote: "I'm glad my Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy"How was it? I've been going back and forth about reading it...
I finished a couple of novels recently. I read Lessons in Chemistry. I really enjoyed the characters, especially Elizabeth Zott. She really endures a lot and ends up on top. Her character arc is interesting. The other book I'll mention in another post.
Just finished Vera Wong's Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man) by Jesse Q Sutanto. Absolutely brilliant and every bit as compelling as Book #1 - Vera Wang's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers.
Arielle Milker it was really good and surprisingly fun, but also really sad and raw. I highly recommend you read it!!
The Bright Years by Sarah Damoff Heartbreaking at Times and Hopeful at Others. I very good book about 4 generations of family and living with someone with a severe addiction.
A couple of hours ago I finished the second book of a series written by Kimberley Woodhouse: 8 Down. I am planning on finishing this series because I really enjoyed books one and two. Cyber crime is at the heart of this series.
I recently finished a biography of former first lady, Lady Bird Johnson.Lady Bird: A Biography of Mrs. Johnson
