Read Voyager. I have already watched the Series, but I always love the books. Reading the books after the fact makes it much more fun. I can put faces to names. So on to the next book in the series; Drums of Autumn. It is an exciting adventure, as I wanted to go to Scotland when the pandemic started, so I must read about it for now.
Lessons in Chemistry! I loved it. It's funny and entertaining but also paints a portrait of what sexism decades ago looked like.
I just finished Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall! It's an extremely insightful non-fiction book about intersectional feminism. Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot
Verity by Coleen Hoover and it was so good. It grabbed me from the first sentence and I read it faster than any other book because I couldn’t wait to see what happened. She wrote a couple of bonus chapters in a new release which I found online…wondering if she will write a sequel. So good!

I recently read the book -Norwegian Woods by Haruki Murakami and my personal review is that it is weird, eye-opener at the same time deals magnificently with complex emotions. Read my full fledged review on the official Norwegian Wood page.
I am just about to finish
by Stephen Graham Jones. It’s not a book I would typically have picked, as main characters are experts on Slasher Films, but it actually plays a big role in stopping the killings and lightens the book up. It is horror, but also outwitting the killer who works off Slasher Films.
Ellen wrote: "Dear Edward"I really liked that book. I am watching the show on AppleTV+ now. Like that, too but book was better.
The last book I read was All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Overall, I liked the story. It took me a bit to get through.
Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr. It was a bit strange for me. He takes you through many different times in history and into the future. I preferred All the Light We Can Not See. That Book was phenomenal.

Joan wrote: "I just finished reading Celeste Ng's Our Missing Hearts. This book is a masterpiece in getting its point across without being "preachy." The story begins in an America that I didn't recognize as be..."Really keen to get into her work, will check it out
the last book I read was great but was inappropriate for some people, so I didn't have the guts to add it. All I can say is that it's one of those books you can't stop thinking about and know you'll return! if you like extra steamy books and are interested, just message me, and I'll tell you :)...and now back to writing. I've stepped away from writing to read four books.
DM if you're intrigued on the title of the book.
A Flicker in the DarkRecently finished this one. My thoughts? Good story and ending, however, it was a bit cliche and predictable. Only reason I dropped 2 stars.
Finding the Place Where Everything Lives by Andy Kalan. It's his debut novel and beautiful in-depth look into the ups and downs of marriage and finding your place after college, especially in New York City.
