Taryn | 7 comments The Measure this books started strong and drifted over time. The author ensured a great deal of character representation in the book, but, several the characters felt under developed. They didn't really grow or change in the face of conflict.
The story seemed to drag in the middle and end. I was waiting for action or build up to a goal but the story slowly simmered to an end.

Janine Leffler | 8 comments Has anyone read The Shining by Stephen King?
I openly admit that I read this book because of the episode of Friends in Season 3 where Joey & Rachel exchange books.
I did not think The Shining was very scary but it was very suspenseful.
