Hamerston Hall I've always enjoyed vintage stories so thought this book enjoyable. It is set during the British regency era but is not a historical novel. It reads somewhat like a Jane Austen book crossed with a bit of Charles Dickens
I just finished Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver last night and loved it! I started Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent this morning.
Sue wrote: "Sarah wrote: "It ends with us, loved it can’t wait to read starts with us!"I also loved that book (listened to audiobook on a long drive) and really want to read It Starts With Us."
Such a great book! Loved every minute of it and hoped that the book wouldn't end.
The midnight library by Matt Haig and I loved it!! 💕 I want to know what things would be like if I made a different choice here and there.
I just finished reading Twisted Games by Ana Huang. I have to say I finished reading her other series king of wrath and I was instantly hooked! She really hooks you in! I definitely recommend.
I just finished on Audio 🎧,
by Alex Michaelides. I really enjoyed it. It was a slow start, but once it got going I could not put it down.
Last book I read from Reese's book club was the First Lie Wins. I just posted a full review on it but I totally loved it because of the fact that it focuses on Evie Porter leading a double life and working these secret jobs while also struggling internally of the idea of wanting out and a normal life for once. She is also very morally grey.
Last book I read was "Afternons with the blinds shut" and I am currently going through "A little life" :)
I finished two books over the weekend.
Heart of the River by Cheryl Adnams ⭐⭐⭐.5 https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...and
Murder at an Irish Wedding by Carlene O'Connor ⭐⭐⭐⭐.2 https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides and it was so good. Basically the only book I've ever read where I couldn't guess the ending early on. I did guess half the ending but only right before it happened.
