message 717: by Misa (new)

Misa (esmmisa) | 2 comments I have recently finished Faulkner's the sound and the furry. I really liked it and I have started to read the same author's another book called Go down, Moses. If you like ancestral storytelling and interested in the lives of early Americans and Black people in southern states, I highly recommend to check Faulkner's work.

message 718: by Super Colin Blow (new)

Super Colin Blow I have almost finished "Listening Woman" by Tony Hillerman. Before that I read "2001" by Arthur C. Clarke (for a 2nd or 3rd time).

I have the bad habit of reading a couple (or more) books at the same time. My attention span isn't what it once was.

fortheloveofplot | 1 comments The last book I read was Reunion in the Silk and Steel series. The entire series had me on an emotional roller coaster so to finally finish the last book was like long-awaited closure to a bittersweet breakup. I wish I could forget everything I read and reread this series. If anyone is interested in fantasy, forbidden romance, M/M romance, and a great storyline, this is the series for you!

message 726: by Lexi (new)

Lexi Zades | 2 comments I just finished The House in the Pines. I do think this was a gripping psychological thriller, but it was not my favorite. However, for anyone looking for a quick read page turner, I would recommend!

Alternatively, I also just finished I Kill Killers, which I preferred if I had to compare the two. Both novels are thrilling page turners that will keep you guessing!

message 727: by Danielle (new)

Danielle | 12 comments I just finished reading The Ruins by Scott Smith. A horror/suspenseful novel about five friends who vacation in Mexico and witness a horrifying being where they aren't allowed to leave. Each day they're desperate for food and drink until they realize that the "being" is playing mind games with them. Each day, the friends lose hope that someone will rescue them. Will they survive or will each one of them go down?

I'm on the lookout for some readers who might be interested in delving into my recently published book for free. While the book is already out in the world, I find myself in need of more reviews to help spread the word.

If you enjoy exploring new stories and wouldn't mind giving my book a read, I would be delighted to provide you with a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Your feedback means a lot to me, and it's incredibly valuable as I continue to grow as an author.

If this is still a possibility for you, please drop a comment or send me a message. Your support is greatly appreciated, and I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the book!

Thank you in advance, and happy reading
