I read "The Thing Around Your Neck" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for school and I really enjoyed it. Especially the short story of the same title as the book, as it was written in a second person point of view which is something I haven't seen before. All of the themes that were brought up are relevant and written in a beautiful way.
The Thursday Murder Club. I loved it because it’s well written, engaging, and surprising! The characters are interesting, the story leads you a certain way and then, BAM!, a surprise hits you. I love books like this. I’m looking forward to reading the next two.
Just finished Rock Paper Scissors. It was so good and got me out of my reading slump when I tried to read The Night Circus. Every chapter ended with a cliffhanger and it kept me on my toes. The twists and turns towards the end were *chefs kiss* and my jaw kept dropping to the point where it started to hurt because of my TMJ 😂
The Ex Hex - kind of boring at first, but it was cute enough to make me interested in the next book.
Just finished Matthew Perry "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing".I also read "A Heart That Works' by Rob Delaney this morning and cried and laughed, got my heart broken and mended again. I absolutely recommend this book.
Athini and Wisteria’s Milan Catwalk Mystery Adventure Another great adventure this I enjoyed very much, too. The catwalk with lots of fashion and very much action. Love the cat, dog and unique characters and how they help each other to sort out the mystery. I enjoyed very much. Very much recommend to read.
The Art of War and Baseball: Great read for any introspective person in your life!www.theartofwarandbaseball.com
not the last book i read, but i did read the maidens by alex michaelides recently and it was amazing!!

It's another WWII story set in Poland, and it will break your heart! It's also a dual timeline story, which I love!
The book I just finished is THE THINGS WE CANNOT SAY by Kelly Rimmer. It's fantastic, a dual timeline story about WWII and a Polish family determined to survive. It is one of the best historical novels I've ever read, a real heartbreaker, and I've already started her next book!
I just finished reading Celeste Ng's Our Missing Hearts. This book is a masterpiece in getting its point across without being "preachy." The story begins in an America that I didn't recognize as being my America...we couldn't become like that. And then one by one incidents happen that closely match actual incidents that have happened within recent years in my America. It is not a "pleasant" read but it is a very necessary read and you will be better off for having read the book and developing a kinship with the characters. This is a book that will remain with you for a long long time...I highly recommend you read it.
I finally read “Queenie” after it being on my want to read list for months. Listened to the audio and the narrator is great!

Just finished reading 'The last thing he told me'; not bad, it's a mystery book but didn't find a page turner nor a good plot twist. And I just started with 'Once upon a broken heart' which is so far amazingly magical.
