Helen | 438 comments Anyone else noticing a shifting book list on Amazon? Everytime I check my author page, it seems at least one or more of my books is 'missing.' They're on my Author Central, but not on my Author page. Any advice? Suggestions?

Pegg | 10 comments I contacted Amazon yesterday because I have the same issue. They said they know about the glitch and are working to correct it. It's been going on for a while, however, so I hope they hurry up!

Helen | 438 comments Thanks, Pegg. I've been noticing it for a long time too, but I'd hoped they'd get their act together sooner rather than later. At least you got an answer.

I noticed it too for the past few weeks and just wrote to them yesterday about it!!! Frustrating... (Yet, glad to know it isn't just mine)

Eric Engle (httpamazoncomauthorquizmaster) Yeah, i noticed it too, contacted them, but I'm not worried.

I'm not "worried" exactly, but when it's acting up, I am noticing a slump in sales... which I don't like.

Jim Hamilton | 207 comments This has happened to me several times over the past six weeks. Since early yesterday morning, my listings have been changing every hour or so. Sometimes only a couple of them, sometimes almost all of them. Right now they're almost okay, but I'm still missing two of them.

J.R. White (authorjrwhite) | 61 comments I'm having the same issue. Spoke with Amazon rep on Friday and they claim to be working on it. They claim a lot of things.

Gail Meath (goodreadscomgail_meath) I just received a response:

Thank you for contacting Amazon Author central! My apologies for the inconvenience the situation has caused to you. I need to look into this issue and it will take a bit more time than usual. I'll write back within 5 business days with more information.

At least their looking into it? Not sure why it's suddenly such a problem.

Diane Johnson | 52 comments Glad to see I’m not the only one having this issue all of a sudden. I thought it was a browser glitch and cleared my history. But I was wrong.

Sarah Martin (sarahbethmartin) | 8 comments I was having this issue yesterday, and I wondered if it was just me. I just went to my page, and now it shows no books under my titles. :(

Gail Meath (goodreadscomgail_meath) Has everyone written to them? I wrote to Author Central, with their answer above, but maybe if they get several inquiries about it, they may work faster to fix it? Maybe not, but it might help.

Greg Curtis | 91 comments Hi,

I'm glad it's not just me. I had this problem maybe a month or two ago, then it seemed to come right. These last few days it's been back, and currently only about half of my books are showing up on the author list - and it's not the same books that are missing today as were missing yesterday!

But at least they seem to know about it and are hopefully on it.

Cheers, Greg.

message 14: by Richard (new)

Richard McCann | 100 comments My issue is that half of my reviews and ratings have disappeared! I've contacted GR about a month ago and several times since then but all I get back is that they are aware of the problem and are working on it! Well I'd rather hear that they have fixed it then just working on it! C'mon man!

message 15: by Gail (new)

Gail Meath (goodreadscomgail_meath) I agree, Richard. Same with Amazon. I think it would be beneficial for others to write to them, too, so they don't think it's just an isolated issue and pooh-pooh it.

message 16: by Richard (new)

Richard McCann | 100 comments Thanks Gail, for the validation! An author works hard to get published and then the organizations that are supposed to help and benefit from their hard work lets them down! The process needs repair!

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 2274 comments Yes, I noticed this the other day. My book The Short Story Emporium was missing and it was the book I was looking for cause I needed the link but when I looked on my page it wasn't there so I had to type it in on the search bar.

Glad Amazon is aware of the issue.

Greg Curtis | 91 comments Hi,

And the problem continues. I'm currently down about three books. I wish they'd get this sorted.

Cheers, Greg.

Gail Meath (goodreadscomgail_meath) Mine's been perfect since Wednesday, thankfully, first time in a month.

Gail Meath (goodreadscomgail_meath) I received confirmation from Amazon that my author page is fixed. For those interested, here is their reponse:

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 2274 comments I'm also noticing my categories aren't listed on certain books...
