Bree has flashbacks to her own childhood trauma throughout the investigation. Did you question her fitness or was she managing it well?

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments Bree seemed to zone out a couple of times when she was remembering the things that happened to her and her siblings. It was good that she wasn't in a dangerous situation at the time. I think Dana is watching her closely to see if she is fit to do the job.

~Melissa~ | 429 comments As I have already read/listened to book 1 prior to this - the flashbacks were not a surprise to me. It was good that she has a seasoned partner with her to "bring her" back to the present as needed.

I did question her fitness a little bit but then I saw how she seemed to be managing it all. I also thought that she was nearing that age when repressed memories begin to resurface and wondered if that’s what was happening to her.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I didn't question Bree's fitness, but I did wonder if she would need to limit working on cases that caused the flashbacks. Dana did a good job getting her to focus.
