The ending was wild! I for some reason, I did feel like I wanted even more from the ending. I had a feeling that Marlinchen was the one doing everything, but being an actual monster and the whole family covering it up from her was wild. I felt really badly for Marlinchen, but I am so glad that her and Sevas were able to leave and have a life together. Speaking of Sevas...he is an absolute angle of a man. The fact that he still loved her knowing everything that happened. He is so good for her. The parallels between his character in the ballet and what he did in the story was really well done! What did you think about the ending? :)

I was super blindsided that she was a monster. I was sorta confused as to if rose turned her into one or if the black potion was to help Marlinchen. I was so happy to see that they stayed together, even though she was a monster.I do love that the ballet was used to hint as to what was actually happening.I gave it 4 out of 5
Yeah, I agree. That whole part was really confusing. I also gave it 4 stars. I really enjoy reading the story, but it wasn’t a 5 star book to me.
Same for me. I big reason I gave it 4 stars was because of how confused I was at that part.
