Sam Hall | 26 comments I say a bit of text or summary somewhere and looking for it since 2021 T

Maybe author is Canadian and either the author or protagonist named John
A novel, not a children's book or comics

What I remember - a Canadian guy (protagonist) looking for James' treasure and travels to the past to look for it. Something goes wrong and that Canadian guy flops in 1862, Jesse is just a very, very pissed-off teenager who wants to go to war. That Canadian guy tries to charge his fate, but no hope.

Thanks!

Sam Hall | 26 comments Also that cave with hidden James treasure was artificial and was created in 20th century, after Jesse James died

Sam, is this book written for teens and/or adults?

How does he travel back in time?

I copied plot and book details to the header/ topic title. Feel free to edit it.

Sam Hall | 26 comments I do not know is this book written for teens and/or adults. No gore of steamy bits, but I did not see much text.

Jesse is 13 or 14 years old, but he is considered as adult by his mother, and I do not know how Canadian guy travelled in time, he was already trying to talk with Jesse in the text,

No, sorry.

Canadian guy is adult and if Jesse did not ride with Quantrill yet, the year in the book is 1861 or 1862.
