Weber makes another visit to Tracy’s office and something has her (Tracy) hold back in sharing what she’s learned about the task force and Lisa Childress’s investigation. Was that instinct or something else?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments It was instinct. Tracy has excellent skills in reading people. She sensed that there was a reason Weber was following this cold case so closely.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I felt like Tracy was still trying to figure out what Del and Faz weren't telling her. She didn't want to bring it up to Weber and get them in trouble without knowing the whole story first.

I think it was primarily instinct but at the same time, Tracy wasn’t sure who to trust as this involved bad cops. She didn’t know how far up the chain who was involved.

Tracy's instincts are spot on. She seem to have a premonition or inkling of something there even though she didn't yet know what. Instinct.

~Melissa~ | 429 comments I thought something was off with Weber honestly the first time she told Tracy to not pursue this one and follow those with DNA. Especially after her success with her last case that she went after leads - not DNA and found the missing girls etc.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Good point, Melissa. Tracy solved a slew of cases without DNA just a couple of weeks ago. Why not give her the latitude to run with the case for a little while? I should have known then that Weber wanted her off of this case.

Exactly this and then when she kept asking Tracy what she was working on and why she was continuing to not follow Weber's directive ..........things that make me go hmmmm lol

That’s a great point, Melissa & Robin!

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments Great point ladies.

I thought something was off with her too. I thought it was the pressure from press and the defunding campaign. I needed to pay more attention to the DNA clue.
