Oh, I got a widget for this one! I don't know if I'll be ready for it in early November though. I have a couple of other buddy reads. Maybe I'll just keep an eye on what you two think of it before accepting. ;)
November is too early for me. I can't even think about 2023 books right now! lol. But I do have it from NG. I actually plan on reading
on Nov 1.
I am planning to get it. I just haven't yet because I'm a little behind and don't want to add too many just in case I can't catch up.
I've only read one other book by Tudor, The Chalk Man, and I gave it 3 stars. I've added some of his other books to my shelf which look good, but haven't gotten to them yet. I think that's partly due to time and other book commitments, but also partly because I felt like Chalk Man was overhyped so I don't prioritize them.

I haven't read
(looks like I own the e-book though!) but I gave
3 stars and
4 stars. I'm looking forward to reading
as it's a short story collection.
The Other People has been on and off my TBR. I was also interested in The Hiding Place, which doesn't seem to be a favorite. Maybe I'll try The Burning Girls. Most of my GR friends liked that one and rated it well.

I'm here. adored the burning girls, spooky as!! Hoping for more spookiness this time around. 10th start would be better for me please as I'm on two blog tours 7th and 8th.
I have this to read as well but don't know if I can do it in November because I have his other book A Sliver of Darkness to read for first week in November.

I think Elyse and I will both be getting to this one later too. I haven't accepted the widget yet in case I run out of time, but I hope to get it, and Elyse has it, but won't be ready for it in November.

I'm really looking forward to this too!I have done one of my blog tours and hoping to have the other finished this weekend. So still good for the start date!
alright, so I'm falling behind and only stacking more reads up due to challengesI'm planning to push this one out and start on the 20th, if that's okay!?
I'll probably start this in mid-December. I've got 6 books to read between Nov-Dec pub dates and I really want to get caught up on at least TWO months of my Netgalley approvals before next year's books! lol.

I started it yesterday and it definitely pulls you in from the start! It will be a good read for me this weekend as we are currently getting hit by a winter storm!
I'm 40% through. It is going quickly, very fast-paced! This is a trigger warning: I was not prepared for a pandemic book. It's not COVID but it is a virus and it is killing people. If you're not ready for that, I would wait to read this one. (view spoiler)
70% through and I have SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. That I don't think will get answered unfortunately because that doesn't seem to be the way this book is structured, to give the reader these answers. Maybe they just don't matter but they feel like plot holes.
finally got the time to start! The Earth is Full of Dead Good guys

I love it so far! I'm completely sucked in!
Kristie wrote: "Uh, oh... "Umm...yeah," does not sound good."It's not. lol. From other friends that have read their ARCs, it's pretty divisive.
I did! and I loved itbut I figured since you weren't a huge fan, I wouldn't give all my updates!! lol
but yes, I was hooked and absolutely loved it!

Hannah awakens to carnage, all mangled metal and shattered glass. During a hasty escape from a secluded boarding school, her schoolbus careened over a hillside road during one of the year's heaviest snowstorms, trapping her inside with a handful of survivors, a brewing virus and no way to call for help. If she and the remaining few want to make it out alive, with their sanity--and secrets--intact, they'll need to work together or they'll be buried alive with the rest of the dead.
A former detective, Meg awakens to a gentle rocking. She is in a cable car suspended far above a snowstorm and surrounded by strangers in the same uniform as her, with no memory of how they got there. They are heading to a mysterious place known only to them as The Retreat, but when they discover a dead man among their ranks and Meg spies a familiar face, she realizes that there is something far more insidious going on and begins to use the skills from her former life to interrogate her fellow passengers.
Carter is gazing out the window of the abandoned ski chalet that he and his ragtag compatriots call home. As the years drag on, the view of pine forests and mountaintops has become wallpaper. Together, they manage what they can to survive--mostly manufacturing vaccines against a deadly virus in exchange for life's essentials. But as their generator begins to waver, the threat of something lurking in the chalet's depths looms larger, and their fragile bonds will be tested when the power finally fails--for good.
The imminent dangers faced by Hannah, Meg and Carter are each one part of the puzzle. Lurking in their shadows is an even greater threat--one that threatens to consume all of humanity.
