ISBN Number

For this book The Pobratim: A Slav Novel, the ISBN # listed appears to be incorrect for the Nook edition. At the Nook website the ISBN number is listed as #9781455411580. I pasted that in the ASIN field since the ISBN field is not editable. If I am in error about that, please feel free to make corrections. There does not seem to be a cover image available.

Those 13-digit numbers starting with 294 are identifiers used by Barnes and Noble. They were in the past valid to add for books without an ISBN. I think they stay even if there is later an edition with an ISBN, but I'm not sure. In that case a new edition with the ISBN should be added.

An existing ISBN/ASIN can no longer be edited by librarians, only by the staff. So you should send them a message to remove the number from the ASIN-slot.

Please note Barnes and Noble can't be used as source for any book data or cover. (If you have a copy of the book, you can take the data directly from your copy.)
