Karin | 3219 comments I came across this request: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Sadly I can't read nothing from it en the publication date is also wrong. (not-gregorian) Is it possible to bring such request to people who can handle this? Because this request is from 18 aug.

I have already added many books in Finnish, I can't understand it either but with DeepL translator I can manage it. So I think many librarian skip this language also.

For example, we could create a folder (visible only to librarians) in which we could bring such request to the attention of people who speak the language. Just wondering...

How to request a book to be added says,
"If the book is in a language other than English, please also specify its language"
so librarians can use the language name as search term. I looked at the request. The requester didn't do that.

Renske | 12222 comments We have a language and translations folder. Currently there are a lot of requests for description changes, but it is also the place where a requests can be made for help with a specific language.

If only the date would be the issue, I would suggest adding it with the date field empty and add the provided date to the description field.

Karin | 3219 comments LJ, yes, in the topic itself.
But now that you mention it, you must put the name of your book in the title. Everyone writes instead: please add this book (or variations).
I didn't know that librarians used the language name as search term? I'm working from August up and see what isn't add.
