I have read all of this authors Dollanganger collection. I was absolutely delighted and swept away into another world desperate to get the next in the set to get back there. I recently read Beneath the attic and was devastated.. it was just spewed out junk to fill pages. I pressed on turning turning page after page and after utter tripe from a spoiled girl to an ending which i could not believe was the actual ending! Infuriating waste of my time. Gutted V.C Andrews allowed this to be published
Anyone else read it?.. love to kno your feelings.

V.C. Andrews died in 1986. All books written after were written by a ghostwriter hired by the family to finish manuscripts that she had started before her death. I do love V.C. Andrew's original books, and some of the ghostwritten ones aren't bad, but most are predictable and a waste of paper.
