Mostly, I saw a physical attraction. Both Keir and Merritt have been alone for some time. Lust took over both of them. There was also a little charm. Merritt is very good at calming people in a huff, and Keir is, well, very good.
I agree, Sharon. It seemed like they were both so attracted to each other, there was no stopping these two getting together.
There were definite attraction sparks from the very first meeting, even if Keir was acting like a beast. The fact that Merritt was able to soothe him and calm him down impressed Keir and had him taking a closer look at Merritt.
These two had an undeniable attraction to each other that made no sense even to them. Sure, part of it was lust but I felt it was more than that. They seemed to admire each other.
