melanie (semi-hiatus) | 310 comments i haven't read ToG yet, but i would say i think it is more age appropriate than ACOTAR

liv !! (0liviak8) | 500 comments i've never read it but apparently ACOTAR is pretty clean, but the rest of the books in the series aren't

rachel b (rachel.readz) | 9 comments I haven’t read any of the books but I’ve heard Throne of Glass is appropriate than ACOTAR

Emily Dreiman | 123 comments I’ve read the first few ToG books and they’re clean, but I’m guessing they’ll get worse as they go on

Alexandra | 6 comments ACOTAR is mostly clean, however depending on maturity level and comfortability with certain topics would determine the book, as well as the other one's in the series as they can get intense time to time. If you are a very mature reader and knowledgeable of triggers, textual meaning and appropriate context of the book. It would make a fantastic read! As always, the decision is yours's and what your most comfortable with. Hoped this helped! :)

gabby ୨୧ (g4bby_8) hey!
i would say that it really honestly depends on your maturity level, and how your parents feel.
however, if i had to choose, i would say tog is more for your age level. it still is action-packed and has an amazing cast of characters. you can fall in love with the book's universe, and then when you get just a little bit older (maybe 16-18? once again, up to your parents), you can read acotar! :)

pls friend/follow me btw! i post reviews of a lot of popular books so if you're looking for a brief run-down of whether or not a book is worth your time, my acc's the spot <3
