I just read This is Where I Leave You. It features siblings. I really liked it. Now I want to watch the movie.

I loved that book :) I also recently saw the movie and thought it was a good adaptation-great cast.

I saw who was in the movie and I think they did a great job of casting for it. Hopefully I will get to it this weekend.

I listened to "Watchers" by Dean Koontz a week ago, didn't realize that the date didn't change on my goodreads account. Anyway it is a book I enjoy and works for #7 in the task. Listening to "What the Night Knows" by Koontz.
Happy reading

You listened or read "Strangers" as well correct Dustin. Finished that one last week. Guess we have been on a Koontz kick! Great minds think alike!

I am almost finished with another Ellen Hopkins book, Rumble. I need to update my challenge because I'm doing all the tasks this time :-)

"Thanks for the update, Dustin! :D
How is Rumble?
I obviously suck... But I now got my own computer. Just got it yesterday. I am currently rereading Jurassic Park, in preparation for JURASSIC WORLD!!! That fits the siblings challenge but I dont think I am gonna do the challenge this time considering there is no way I am gonna finish 3 books in one month seeing how my track record has been recently. I'll hopefully finish Jurassic Park though. It will depend how often Maggie and I end up sharing the same break at work also... Maggie is a girl I like at work. I believe she likes me back. She knows I like her. She just wants to be friends right now though... pretty much thats long story short. Dustin, I've posted about her on facebook... I just never used her name in the status. So pretty much a girl has distracted me from reading. =P

Hope things work out for you and Maggie.
Rachel wrote: "Josh wrote: "I obviously suck... But I now got my own computer. Just got it yesterday. I am currently rereading Jurassic Park, in preparation for JURASSIC WORLD!!! That fits the siblings challenge ..."Thank you.
Maggie is the first girl I've ended up really liking in a long time. Dont know what will end up happening with her in the end, but I like being around her and we are similar... sometimes too much a like. =P

I liked Rumble. The story deals with Religion and Suicide. I liked it better than Impulse for some reason but not as much Burned and Smoke - my favorites by Ellen Hopkins. The reason why Burned and Smoke are my favorites is because I can relate to them.

I listened to Rumble on Audiobook and one of the reasons I liked it is because it was narrated by Kirby Heyborne - he is one of my favorite narrators because he narrates a couple of my favorite books by Dan Chaon, Await Your Reply and Stay Awake: Stories. I am going to get more books just to hear Kirby Heyborne.

Dustin Crazy little brown owl wrote: "The Ellen Hopkins books have an interesting honesty about them and they are poetic :-)"I agree :)
finished The Nightingale
- 5 starsI won this in a giveaway and thought it was a great read-set in France during WWII, it's told from the point of view of 2 sisters. I will say that although I liked this book from the beginning it gets really compelling at the halfway point. Like all good historical fiction I found it really informative and it made me cry.
Now I can focus on
which I haven't read since the 90's :D
Dustin Crazy little brown owl wrote: "Christine wrote: "i finished Nights of Rain and Stars. The word night is in the title."Any good?"
Sorry I was out of town. It was ok. Maeve Binchy is predictable but usually has nice settings.

Happy Mother's Day Christine :-)
Its that time of the challenge when I am trying to finish all the books I set out to read for it. I just finished a Douglas Preston book,
Very suspenseful and I did figure out part of the mystery, I didn't figure it all out. That means no disappointment for me. I am a big fan of Agent Pendergast and I am happy to know that I have lots more to read :)

Hope you like Still Life With Crows when you get to it :)
I finished Twelfth Night Woohoo! My challenge is done. I had some help with Twelfth Night. I read the explanation of the play in Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human and watched the movie. No one will ever mistake me for a Shakespeare scholar. I enjoy the plays on the stage and screen but in its written form, its just torture for me.

When I read Shakespeare I always get the edition with the original text on one page and the translation on the other-otherwise I wouldn't know what he was talking about lol.
Congrats on completing the challenge :D
