CreatSpace and KDP Select is the way to go. They will put your book on Barnes and Noble, Books A Million, libraries etc. All of mine are done that way and it's all free.

Basically, I'm wondering if there are any major advantages of self-publishing with Bookbaby.
My goal is simply to self publish my childrens book (with my own imprint) in both print and e-book formats. I would like for them to be available on all the major sites including Powell's.
I do not necessarily need the Bookbaby marketing services at this time. I'm really simply looking for a company that I can rely on for both POD and E-Books AND that can get me plugged into amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, powells.com..etc...
Do I HAVE to go with Bookbaby to get these things?
Thanks in advance to anyone who took the time to read this blather.
