I thought the story was interesting, but didn't like the abrupt ending. I sure hope there is more to it in the next book.

I have to say - when my audio just stopped I was like "NOOOOOOO - you can't leave us there!!!!!" LOL

I had to jump into the next one ASAP and just finished it up tonight.

I love short stories that end like this, especially if I know more books are coming. I just wish I’d read it after #8 instead of first. I’ve been waiting to see how it connects with #9 because I figured there was a reason Dugoni wrote it this late in the series.

Jonetta, I understand not wanting to read this book before starting the series. It's almost painful when I accidentally do that.

I had to go straight into the next book after the abrupt ending and even at that it's taken me awhile to understand what Dugoni was setting up.

I'm with you Sandra. This book is such a quick read, but it sets up the next book nicely.
